Free idea validator

Describe your idea. In about 25 seconds you see real posts from people describing the problem it solves, with a link to each one. Free, no sign-up.

What it checks

Most idea validators ask a model what it thinks of your idea and give you a score. A model has never needed your product. This one checks what a score can't: whether people are already asking for a fix.

It reads your idea, works out the words people use when they have that problem, searches Reddit's past week for them, and keeps the posts that match strongly. You see each post's subreddit, its age, an excerpt and a link, so you can read it yourself.

How to read the results

Several posts, in more than one subreddit
A problem many people describe in their own words. Worth a real test.
A few posts, all in one place
A niche problem, or the search used the wrong words. Try describing the idea the way a customer would.
No posts
Nobody described it in those words this week. It's not a verdict: rewrite the idea in plain words and search again.

What it can't tell you

Posts show that a problem exists and that people talk about it. They don't show that anyone will click, leave an email or pay. That takes a real test: a page made to convert, put in front of the people asking, with every visit counted.

That's the paid part of Ghostlaunch: we build the page, reach the people asking, and after 7 days you get a report on what they did.

Questions

Is the idea validator free?

Yes. The search is free and needs no account. It reads your idea, searches Reddit's past week and shows up to 10 matching posts, each with a link. You pay only if you want Ghostlaunch to build a landing page for the idea, reach the people asking and run a 7-day test.

How is this different from an AI idea validator?

An AI validator gives you a model's opinion of your idea, usually as a score. This tool shows evidence instead: real posts from people describing the problem, each linked so you can read it. A model can't tell you whether people want something. What they write, and later what they click, can.

Where do the posts come from?

From public Reddit posts in the past week. The search turns your idea into the phrases people use when they have the problem, runs those searches across Reddit, and keeps only posts that match strongly. We show the subreddit, the age, the title and a short excerpt, never the author's name.

What should I do after I find posts?

Read them. Note the words people use and what they've already tried. Then test whether they'll act: a landing page made to convert, shown to the people asking, with every sign-up counted. Ghostlaunch runs that test for you in 7 days and sends a report with a clear answer.

What if it finds nothing?

It means nobody described the problem in those words this week, not that the idea is bad. Rewrite the idea the way a customer would say it, without product terms, and search again. If posts still don't come up, ask whether it's a problem people talk about in public at all.
