What this covers
This notice covers Ghostlaunch's site, the app and your account. Each founder's page has its own privacy notice, for the people who visit it.
What we keep
- Your account
- Your email address and name, and your password, which our sign-in provider stores only as a hash. If you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares.
- Your tests
- The ideas you describe, your answers, the pages we make and your edits, each page's numbers, the emails its visitors leave, and your reports.
- Payments
- Your Stripe customer number, your plan and what you bought. Stripe keeps the card details; we never see them.
- The free search
- The idea you type, the posts we find, and a keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself), to limit how often one person can search. A search nobody signs up from is deleted after 7 days.
- Messages
- What you send us through the contact form.
How we use it
To run your tests and write your reports, to bill you, to email you (sign-in links and your day-7 report), to keep the service safe (the daily limits and the idea check), and to answer you. We don't show you ads, and we don't sell your data.
Who else handles it
These services handle data for us, only to do their part:
- Supabase
- Our database and sign-in. The database is in Japan.
- Vercel
- Hosts the site, the app and the pages.
- Stripe
- Takes payments.
- Resend
- Sends our emails.
- Our AI model provider
- Anthropic's Claude, through our model gateway. It reads your idea, answers and page text to check the idea and write the page, its questions and the report, and visitors' answers to write the report.
- ReplyHey
- Our outreach tool. It gets your page's address and your test's dates, and holds the public posts we reply to.
- SocialCrawl
- Searches Reddit for the free search, with the search terms only.
- Cloudflare Turnstile
- Checks that a free search on the site comes from a person.
- Web3Forms
- Delivers the contact form to us.
How long we keep it
Your account and tests stay until you delete the account. Deleting it deletes your ideas, pages, their visits and leads, and your reports. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can download your leads as a CSV at any time from the dashboard. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, write to us with the form below. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this notice, the date at the top changes with it, and if a change matters for you, we email you first.
