What Ghostlaunch does
Ghostlaunch tests a product idea before you build it. From your idea, we write and design a landing page and put it live at its own address. For 7 days, our team finds people on Reddit who are already asking for a fix to the problem your idea solves, and replies to them with a link to your page. We measure what visitors do, and on day 7 you get a report with a verdict and the emails people left.
Your account
You need an account to run a test, and you must be at least 18. Use a real email address and keep your password to yourself: you're responsible for what's done in your account. One account per person.
Your idea, your page, your leads
Your idea, your answers and the page we make for it are yours. You let us use them to run your test: to host the page, show it to the people we reach, and write your report.
The emails visitors leave on your page are yours too. Contact those people only about the product they signed up for, as the page's privacy notice tells them, and follow the privacy and anti-spam laws that apply to you. We don't sell your leads or use them for anything else.
Only put things on your page that you have the right to use: no one else's logo, photos or words.
How outreach works
We decide where and how to reach people, and we follow each platform's rules. We reach out from our own accounts and never post as you. Your dashboard and report show how many people we found and contacted, with links to some of the posts.
If a platform, a community or its moderators object, we may stop or change the outreach. We can't promise a number of visitors, sign-ups or any other result: the test measures what happens.
The verdict
The verdict follows fixed rules applied to your numbers, and the written summary is produced by an AI model from those numbers. Both are our honest read of a small test, not advice or a guarantee. What you build is your decision.
What we don't test
We don't make pages for, or reach people about, ideas that fall under these rules. We check every idea before you pay; if we turn yours down, you pay nothing.
- Illegal goods or services
- Anything illegal in most countries, or built to help people break the law: fake documents, pirated content, getting around sanctions.
- Weapons
- Selling or making guns, ammunition, explosives or weapon parts.
- Drugs
- Selling or promoting recreational drugs or controlled substances, or prescription medicine without a prescription.
- Adult content
- Sexual content or services, and dating or chat products built around sex.
- Gambling
- Betting, casinos, lotteries, or tools for winning at them.
- Money schemes
- Get-rich-quick offers, multi-level marketing, promised returns, coins or tokens sold to investors, and high-cost lending.
- Health claims
- Products that claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease, or to replace a doctor.
- Deception and spam
- Pretending to be a person or brand, fake reviews or followers, phishing, and spam or bot tools that break a platform's rules.
- Hate, harassment and tracking people
- Attacking people for who they are, harassing them, or tracking them without their consent.
Taking a page down
We review every page before its outreach starts, and we can take down a page that breaks these rules at any time, even after its test is paid for. A taken-down page goes offline and can't be published again. A test taken down for breaking the rules isn't refunded.
Fair use
There are daily limits on what you can start that uses our AI model: reading your idea, writing its questions, building pages, rewriting sections and writing reports. The app tells you when you reach one. Don't try to get around the limits, copy the service in bulk, or use it to harm anyone.
Payments
Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Stripe takes the payment; we never see your card number.
One test is a single 7-day test. A plan renews every month until you cancel it, and gives you tests each month (Founder has 3, Studio has 10). Tests you don't use end with the month.
You can change or cancel your plan in Billing. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the month you paid for. An upgrade starts at once, charged for the new month less the unused time; a downgrade starts when the month ends.
Refunds
You can get a full refund for a test until we start its outreach. After that the page is built and people are being reached, so the test isn't refunded. Plans aren't refunded for part of a month.
Ending your account
You can stop using Ghostlaunch at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close yours for any other reason, we refund the tests whose outreach hasn't started.
What we can't promise
Ghostlaunch is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but it can be down or have mistakes. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or a decision you made from a report, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and if a change matters for you, we email you before it applies. Using Ghostlaunch after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws where Ghostlaunch is run. If something goes wrong, write to us first and we'll try to sort it out together.
